Meeting at Shenzhen Bay is not Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles.
The Northbound Travel scheme uses the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge under its official application and booking rules.
The 60 to 80 minutes covers only mainland driving
Door-to-door time also includes the Hong Kong leg, immigration, walking, transfer waiting and traffic variation. Treat the activity booking time as the time to be ready at the venue, not the arrival target.
Keep a buffer before and after the activity
A complete karting mini-race normally needs 2 to 2.5 hours on site. Car track days are usually longer.
- Allow for immigration, transfer waiting and congestion on the outbound trip.
- Include overruns, changing, venue exit and border transport on the return.
