Karting

  • Do I need a road driving licence?Not for normal rental karting. Competition classes and specific karts may have separate requirements.
  • Four-stroke or two-stroke for a first drive?Start with a rental four-stroke. Move to Rotax or X30 after learning consistent braking and lines.
  • Can individuals book?Yes. At Guangdong JS Racing, individuals can book all four kart types; ten drivers are required only for a complete mini-race.
  • Can children drive?The kart must fit the driver. Height, pedal reach, braking control and the ability to follow instructions matter.

Cars and track days

  • Is a road licence a racing licence?No. Training, track days and competition have different entry requirements.
  • Can a complete beginner join?Choose instruction or a novice group rather than an unrestricted practice group.
  • Can I bring my own car?When the activity accepts it and the car passes its checks. Prepare brakes, tyres, fluids and recovery.
  • Does a rental race car include insurance?Do not assume it does. Read the deposit, excess, exclusions and damage charging terms.

Booking and travel

  • How long should I allow from Hong Kong?Add the Hong Kong leg, immigration, transfer waiting, registration, briefing and return buffer to the map time.
  • Do Guangdong JS kart bookings require ten people?No. Ten or more applies only to a complete race format.
  • What should I send when booking?Date, group size, adult or junior drivers, experience and preferred vehicle.
