A road licence is not a racing licence
Training and non-competitive track days may accept a road licence or have their own eligibility rules. Competition uses separate licensing and event regulations.
Confirm six items before booking
- Activity type and driver group.
- Licence and experience requirement.
- Own car or rental car specification.
- Helmet, clothing and other equipment.
- Deposit, insurance and damage liability.
- Cancellation, weather and recovery arrangements.
A typical day runs through registration, briefing, checks and sessions
Arrive before the stated registration time. Cars and equipment are checked before drivers are released in groups. Track time usually runs in sessions rather than as an unrestricted full day.
Use the event briefing as the flag reference
Know the stop, slow, hazard and session-end signals. Passing rules and point-by procedures differ between organisers, so follow the briefing for that event.
